Gadi Sassoon made a final trip to Edinburgh in December 2016 to work with us again on the NESS Project. This time, the mission was to figure out the Brass code—which is a challenging one. The resulting piece, Black Hole Fanfare, makes use of some ridiculous brass instrument models. This time, Gadi created the sounds on NESSGPU, and then sent them through a mental-looking Eurorack in a suitcase. I’m amazed he got through airport security in Heathrow with that thing!
